Myriam Sanabria is a Planning Tech at Bonnie C Landry and Associates. Mrs. Sanabria received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree in 2005 from the University of Puerto Rico. She worked as a Chemist with major Pharmaceutical Industries in Puerto Rico and Connecticut. In 2010 she became a stay-at-home mom until in 2018 her bilingual skills in English and Spanish and organizational skills gave her the opportunity to become a permit technician with newly incorporated Village of Indiantown. As a permit technician, she was able to use her strong analytical, problem-solving mindset as well as her strong organizational skill to develop into a new career in planning. It was this opportunity that introduced her to the firm’s principal. After a long break due to the pandemic, the firm recruited her to provide Spanish translation for local governments as well as permit and site plan reviews. While at BCLA, Myriam has developed great understanding of local government operations and enjoys supporting them.
