BCLA is preparing the EAR–based (Evaluation and Appraisal Report) Amendments to the
County’s Comprehensive Plan to make it consistent with current community planning laws. In addition, the firm
updated the County’s Water Supply Plan which has been transmitted to the State. Currently underway, BCLA is preparing the Comprehensive Plan appendix for the newly designated Area of Critical State Concern (ACSC). These new policies will be adopted to provide protection for the South Brevard Beach’s fragile ecosystem. As part of the all of these plans, the firm is facilitating public
workshops and hearings to shepherd the plans to adoption.
